Tour Dates for the full tour are now available, Ocean Colour Scene are touring in April and early May 2005 to promote their new Studio Album, entitled ‘A Hyperactive Workout for the Flying Squad’ which is planned for release in March next year.

Message to the Fans from Simon

Simon Fowler, in an open and frank letter to the fans who watched his solo gig at Keighley, has apologised for letting anyone down due to his poor performance that night. Without using it as an excuse, the combination of medication and alcohol led to the disastrous effects witnessed by the 200 people at the gig.

Simon’s now infamous Keighley Gig has made it into the Yorkshire Post, commenting that Simon “appeared on stage high on a cocktail of drink and drugs” and “he had to be led away before he passed out”. Simon has already apologised for his behaviour.

Irish TV Acoustic Gig Recorded

The Band recorded a 40 Minute Acoustic Performance in a small church in Ireland, during their short stint over there for December’s Tour Dates. The Performance was made up entirely of 6 new songs and is due to be broadcast sometime in February/March to promote ’A Hyperactive Workout for the Flying Squad

New Song Listed on Amazon.co.uk

Amazon have now listed and made available for pre-order ‘Everything Comes At The Right Time’ with a Release Date of 7th March 2005, it is unclear if this is the first track taken from ‘A Hyperactive Workout for the Flying Squad’ or if they have renamed the album. More details to follow.
