OCS News Updates - Second Single + Support Band

The second support band for the tour is being decided on this week, also, on that note, the 4 Dublin tour dates will finally be confirmed as well.

The choice of record for the Second single is being discussed, the publishers favouring ‘Everything Comes at the Right Time’, a loop of the intro section has been sent to TV people for possible inclusion in adverts and soundtracks, the other song in the reckoning is ‘Drive Away’ although the decision depends on how the songs go down at the forthcoming tour, so shout loud for the ones you like the most.

Re-Release of ‘Anthology’ CD plus bonus DVD

In a cynical move by the previous record company to ‘cash in’ on the lads heightened profile and upcoming UK tour, they are re-releasing the Anthology CD, this time with a Bonus DVD as well, which incorporates everything from the ‘Filmed from the Front Row’ DVD minus the interview section. The CD/DVD is released on April 18th.

If you have’nt already, buy a Gig ticket for the Tour instead of lining the pockets for no other reason, than for the old label to cash in on the things, the lads gave without reasonable pay.

‘Free My Name’ charts in 23rd place

The first single from ‘A Hyperactive Workout for the Flying Squad’ charted at No 23, this is a relatively good achievement considering the lack of mainstream airplay and was mainly from OCS’s fantastic support, the single was in 20th place on Monday and up to 17th by Wednesday but obviously slipped since then. It is unlikely that it will now lead to another performance on Top of the Pops by the lads.
